Week 11

Introduction

I am Khushal Agrawal (skippr), a Google Summer Of Code contributor and developer at Inkscape. This blog summarises my progress during the eleventh week of Google Summer Of Code 2024.

This week's activity

This week I had received my SATA drive. I installed Fedora 40 and everything required to setup Inkscape. The following days were spent in converting the local code written in GTK3 to GTK4 and pushing the code to my Merge Requests. Most of the work went smoothly with a few minor setbacks but by the end of the week I had pushed all my work on their respective Merge Requests.

Next week's activity

Next week I will have a meeting with Vaibhav to discuss the implementation of the last feature remaining for my Google Summer of Code. I will start working on that feature. I will also test my current MRs for bugs and make any changes suggested by reviewers.
